怪不得, 終於給我們找到今天社會上所有問題的原點…

餘波未了, 到最後GM還是走了。 一切都順著理性發展。

只是看著這次事件, 大老闆們走得很瀟灑, 而且兩個都是只是四十出頭。 他們都是很有才華和已不需依賴工作生活, 所以就算辭職也不怕沒有其他機會或者「餓死」。 其他人卻沒有這種福氣, 我敢肯定其他GM還是不能說走就走。 看著這種「揮一揮衣袖不帶走一片雲彩」的瀟灑, 不是單單需要勇氣, 還要很早就有計劃, 令自己站在主動位置, 加上把握每次生命中的機會, 才可以做到不再需要看其他人臉色生活。

今天, 我找到我未來十年的目標。

I think I am getting lazier. I don’t even have the motivation to pick up my ‘pen’ to write blog entries in Chinese anymore these days. These days my days are all filled up with work, personal affairs and Wii, distracting myself from the spiritual expression and development. Even some of my normal activities are all pushed aside and hardly find the time and passion to do it anymore.

I guess starting March my resolution will be picking up some of these old habits, such as my usual physical activities so that I use my body parts again, rather than just sitting around and exploit my brain power alone.

However I doubt whether my resolution will get off the ground. Work is slipping little by little, and definitely need my attention more and more now. It’s not I lack the ability to complete things but the tasks clearing rate is definitely not catching up the “work dumping down” rate. I guess I better start the passive defence strategy – delegation. As my new boss said, it’s better in other’s court than mine.

I notice that not just work is like that. My budget is also slipping little by little. With my days in the company growing, number of friends and colleagues I made definitely is growing. The downside of this is I need to re-budget my coffee/drinks budget now, and definitely have to rethink my lunch strategy somehow. I guess this is everyone’s dilemma in the commercial environment. You just won’t turn down an invite to the coffee shop and risk your chance of building your network.

Fortunately with other things they are progressing in the right direction as I anticipate, little by little, and moving along in the right direction I want them to. It’s already February and I guess I have to put more actions in my life to take bigger steps. I don’t know if I had changed my attitude, but I think I am getting a bit impatient at things and changing my attitude towards action from strategy.

I am sure Umi has open for a while, and I was very interested to try since last year. The only obstacle that I faced was a good excuse. I wasn’t able to formulate the plan to achieve this goal, and when I think I have to shelf this idea for a while, fate has provided me the chance.

Umi position itself at the high end of sushi train and the big fish tank definitely raise the bar for them. The spacious feeling definitely makes you enjoy the atmosphere and group tables along the train also provided more convenience for group of friends. This makes sushi train more user friendly to more than 3 people.

A good sushi train restaurant needs to have a special attraction. Umi definitely provides a hint of excitement in this aspect. Apart from normal sushi you can have in other places, I have also seen new creation; even old style sushi rolls were reinvented with fusion element or new presentation. Rare ingredients were also available, such as prawn roe, sea eel and some other types of unseen fish.

I am sure will return to try more of Umi, taking the advantage of this scotching heat of Australia summer. The good thing is the price tag is not much different from other sushi train restaurant. The only thing I need to worry is I better make more action before Winter arrives.
