前天晚上剛聽完「光明頂」所講的「整定」, 今天弟又寫一篇差不多的文章,  連TV節目Numbers也帶有差不多的成份, 真是天意。

節目裏講的當然不是占卜星相, 而是深入地看歷史上的「必然性」和「偶發性」, 而套用在人生上也很有理。

歷史上很多大事可以說「必然」, 因為這件的「因」是種在幾百年前, 你和我根本就不能一下子改變。 但何時令這件事發生卻是「偶發」, 只是一件小事就觸發連鎖反應。 比方說, 節目中第一個例子就是第一次世界大戰, 起因是因某一方權貴遇刺身亡而觸發。 但本來準備行刺的人, 因這權貴走錯路而遲到伏激地點而準備取消行動, 因權貴的司機卻「及時」發現而折返, 因而趕上這次行刺事件。 若不是「整定」, 那麼多人的「一念之差」可不會這麼巧。 但遠因卻是行刺的和被刺的是兩個敵對陣形, 所以大戰這結果無可避免。 這次大戰遲早發生, 只差有什麼藉口而已, 完全符合「必然」和「偶發」這兩個條件。 當然還有其他歷史例子, 不一一覆述了。

在人生中, 早注定要死, 只差在如何演「活」這個過程, 所以主持人都認為人過四十才知命, 因生命經歷足夠的起跌而明白, 是妳的始終是你的, 不須強求。 正如節目一開始所說:

命運是在妳不知不覺中令你入局。 表面上你有很多選擇, 而你所擇的好像是在你自由意志下所決定的。 但細心回想, 就會發覺, 所謂的其他選擇根本只是鏡花水月的虛幻, 冥冥中有一隻無形之手把你推向早已決定好的路途上。

令我深刻的, 還是將這問題放在緣份結婚, 因為實在很難說, 和你的另一半是「必然」還是「偶發」。 以少可以肯定, 「必然」的代名詞是「青梅竹馬, 相知甚深」, 「偶發」的代名詞是「浪漫邂逅, 一見鐘情」。

大家都在不知不覺中, at the right place, at the right time.

It’s a surprise to me that Happy Feet is quite a good movie. Initially I thought the selling point of the whole movie is those cute little penguins dancing and singing like a musical. It is in fact like this all the way but included a strong environmental message for kids to think about when they are growing up.

From a movie perspective it is a movie about love. Therefore if you treat that as a movie you would be bored as you definitely can guess how the story flows. However there are good fresh points of view that presented in a fun way to children and make them aware of the feeling of others, not just people but animals. One point about alien is quite a fresh perspective. When speaking from a seagull perspective how people capture them and tag them, it is very similar to what people are saying regarding alien capturing experience. What we are doing to animals for the what-so-call scientific research reason, to the animal itself is one of the unpleasant alien capturing experience. Unless we are 100% sure that we are alone in this universe, then it is hard to dismiss that one of us might have this alien scientific research experience.

From a musical perspective the music is extremely good. Not just the music but the arrangement of songs throughout the movie. I think some of the songs are old classic hits with a new twist or rewriting some of the lyrics to suit the movie. That is absolutely refreshing; especially I like the flamingo-feel My Way. The messages trying to convey to youngsters regarding our environmental issues are so clear and easy to remember, that I do hope the next generation can make a difference. It makes me really sad when I realized our pleasures such as family time at the zoo or enjoy a simple dinner of seafood cause such grief to other cute cuddly animals.

However I am not giving up on sushi … yet …

I have been very lazy lately. However I come across this a few days ago and decided to share it here.

Thanks to Irene and James I have the chance to test drive Wii. I must say Nintendo is truly the pioneer of the gaming industry. I still remember the first generation of the Nintendo (Red/White console) and that led the trend ever since (of course I still remember Arteri which is truly the first console). Now with Wii the interaction of games is raised to a new level, and truly speaking I would consider Nintendo had brought sports into our lounge room now. At least I didn’t hear the ladies complaining about the sun while we play tennis today. Still I worked out a good sweat and felt like having a real match of tennis.

Just a warning, the bunny game is more physical than any other sports game. My arms are still sore even after hot baths in the bath tub to sooth the muscles.

At least I found the perfect way to do exercise now. The trouble is this might cost more than any gym membership.

2007年一開始就是看生肖運程, 不同「師傅」都說我(們)今年好得不得了, 還不到過農曆年, 想買的LCD電視就開始減價, 好兆頭! 看來根著想要的應該接踵而來, 不過現在卻心大心細, 不知好不好開始亂花錢…

 年尾開始計劃新一年, 鴻圖大計太多, 所需資源太多, 我想我又犯了心頭太高的毛病…
